Help us recognize those who serve our country! To honor Skinner North family members who have served in the military or are still in active duty, we are inviting Skinner families and teachers to contribute to our Veterans Day Honorary Flag. Remember to return your white paper stars that were sent home. (Extras are available in the main office and parent room)

For our Veterans Tribute Week, all students will also be participating in a letter writing project for Honor Flight Chicago (honorflightchicago.org) which we will need a parent volunteer to help with. A volunteer request will be sent out early next week. Additionally, students will also get the unique opportunity to hear speakers talk from the military about their experiences serving our country.
We’re hoping that all these activities will help our Skinner North students better understand the meaning & importance of Veterans Day.
