State HIstory Fair - I am so grateful to have received this news as it brings a little bit of normalcy, as so many other events have been canceled. Teacher Appreciation Week (Reminder) - We encourage students/families to write notes or emails to teachers and staff throughout the week. You can do this via email message/video or you can use the following Google Form (https://forms.gle/si8ZiR7CGsstUyRW9) to send compliments to staff. These will be shared with them at the end of the week.
Tech Pick Up - We want to make sure students have what they need to stay engaged while school is not in session. NAMI Chicago's Ending the Silence: a Mental Health Training for Parents and Caregivers - May is Mental Health Month and as we all learn to navigate our "stay-at-home" lives, it's a good time to come together as a community to talk about mental health and support resources for our children. We've partnered with our Wellness Committee to bring you: NAMI Chicago's Ending the Silence: a Mental Health Training for Parents and Caregivers • Tuesday, May 12, 2020 • 8:45-10:15a.m. We hope you will join us to learn more about your student's mental health and signs they may need more support; how early recognition & prevention are key to positive outcomes; how to approach your child and work with your school.
