Morning arrival and end of day pick up
Please remember to enter Scott via Halsted and pull into the south parking lot and exit onto Larabee. You can park in the lot across from the school or Target. Ensuring that Scott street has a one way flow of traffic helps keep students safe, buses moving and drop off and pick up smooth. Lastly, please do not pull into or park in the staff parking lot or the lot that is connected to Stanton Park.

We are very excited for the Lower Grades Hangout at Altitude! Due to higher interest and capacity, please note the time change. Grades K,1, and 2 will be from 9-11am and grades 3,4 and 5 will be from 10am to 12pm. Please note, only those who have completed the survey are eligible to attend, this event is at capacity.

Starry Night
If you can believe it, Starry Night is only two weeks away!! We hope to see you on Saturday, March 11th, at Newberry Library in River North at 6pm. Please mark your calendar for an adults-only celebration of our amazing school, including delicious food and drinks, dancing, games, and a live and silent auction. Interfaith Dialogue Workshop
We invite all Skinner North teachers, staff, caregivers, and 7th/8th grade students (with caregivers' permission) to join us for an hour-long virtual dialogue workshop on Thursday, March 2 7-8 PM. Our cultural, religious, and racial/ethnic identities shape who we are in meaningful ways. We are creating a virtual space to share who we are with others in our diverse Skinner North community.
The workshop is organized by the SN Diversity Committee and will be led by Avi Smolen, Pastor Dominique Grate, SN Parent Hannah Willage, and 8th graders Abbey, Aisling, Carly, Parvathi, Priyanka, and Robert.
Keep in mind that younger-grade children are welcome to attend with you, and 7th and 8th graders can attend with their caregivers or on their own with caregivers' permission. Although not necessary, feel free to RSVP to let us know you're coming: https://forms.gle/w9eUBDydUV9LEFWC9

Holi Celebration at Skinner North
Wednesday, March 8th
During school: High-energy dance workshop brought to us by bestselling author and small business owner, Ajanta Chakraborty from Bollywood Groove & Culture Groove! Students are welcome to bring personal copies of any of her 15 book titles, like this or this for a special author book signing following the workshop.
After school: Outdoor color powder play! BYO- oversized white shirt to layer on top of & protect other clothing. Join the fun on the back side of the school. Sign up here to donate supplies or to volunteer to help create the colorful celebration. Thank you!
