Chess
Ryan W. and his dad Ben, our Chess Team Coach, attended a Chicago Board of Education meeting. Ryan was able to speak to the board as a representative of the Skinner North Chess Team. He was invited based on the team's 1st place finish in the CPS (K-6) Elementary Chess Championship. Skinner North is proud to have you as a representative!

History Fair
A number of our 6th and 7th grade students participated in the Chicago Metro History Fair. This year's theme was Leadership and Legacy. History Fair serves as an opportunity to share a historical research project. Students at Skinner North created research paper, exhibit boards, websites, and documentaries.
Three students are moving on the State History Fair! Congratulations to Chelsea O. (1st place-Research paper), Katie K. (1st place- Website) and Benedict S. (1st place - Exhibit). Your hard work is paying off!
