CPS sent out letters to students enrolled in bus services. These letters detail two options, a primary and secondary stop, for students. Some action is required depending on your stop selection (make sure to do this by Friday, August 21st to ensure there is no disruption in bus service).
If you want to select:
Primary site: There is no need to do anything. This will be the automatic choice.
Secondary site: Email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or call the school and state your child's name and name of the secondary site. We will be able to change the site for you. (Update: No need to submit a bus stop change request form for secondary sites)
Another site: You will need to complete a Bus Stop Change Request, located on the back of your letter or at http://cps.edu/Programs/Pages/Transportation.aspx. The site selected must be one that already provides service to Skinner North students (a list is included below for your reference). Once you complete this form, send to the school via scan & email, fax, or drop off. Then, we will sign and send to the transportation department, where they will approve or deny the request.
Bus Pick Up/Drop Off Times: These will be sent by Transportation 1-2 weeks before the first day of school. If you have questions regarding this please contact Transportation at 773-553-2860.
